Loft in Paris

Architects Karine and Matthieu had been living in this apartment with their kids for ten years, when they were offered a chance to buy it. That's when they decided to renovate. Karine and Matthieu had a clear idea of what needed to be done - most of all they wanted more light and open space. They also wanted to keep things as simple as possible, inspired by their trips to Japan and Alvar Aalto, so they chose to use wood, concrete, beautiful furniture and textiles. And this is the result!

A home in an old school building

This apartment is built into an old school building. I love the high ceilings and the huge windows. The flooring is amazing too. The decoration may be a bit too black and white for my personal taste, but it looks good anyway!

Essay table

I just love this table designed by Cecilie Mantz for Fritz Hansen. It's so simple, yet stylish. I'm also a huge fan of lofts, concrete, big windows and high ceilings. I could live in that space...
