Home of an architect

Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen from NORM Architects renovated this old house for him and his family a few years back. It is located in Vedbæk just outside Copenhagen. Bjerre-Poulsen wanted to create a lot of open space and let the light in, but also to keep the design clean and simple, so that there's a certain calmness at home.

A home in Copenhagen

I have a feeling that most of the beautiful homes are located in Copenhagen... Like this one. There's just something about Danish design.

The home of an illustrator

This is the home where illustrator Vesa Sammalisto, his wife Riikka and their daughter live. They were looking for an apartment in Helsinki three years ago, but it proved to be difficult to find one that would meet their criteria. When this one came up, they immediately snapped it up. They have renovated it completely and decorated with care. Love it!

Concrete floors and grey tones

Coby and Roelof Boermas bought this 19th century Dutch house (and farm) in 2007, when it had been uninhabited for five years. They made a complete renovation, starting with the concrete floors, and after that the rest found its place piece by piece. White, different tones of grey, raw wood - what a match!

The home of Jacob Holm

Here lives Jacob Holm, head of Fritz Hansen and his wife Barbara Bendix Becker. I can't stop admiring the flooring, the Poul Kjærholm pieces and the decoration!
